Anthony Hamawi is a Lebanese comedian and improviser with more than a decade on stage and over 800 improv performances. A co-founder and core performer of 3a Ka3ba, he has toured across Canada, Europe and the Arab world, while building extensive experience in corporate entertainment, event hosting and workshops. He is also a television and podcast host, screenwriter and content creator, with work spanning live performance, television, radio and digital media.
Anthony Hamawi is a Lebanese comedian and improviser whose career has been built in front of live audiences. Over more than a decade, and across more than 800 improv performances, he has developed a style rooted in listening, character work, musicality and the ability to read a room and turn unpredictable moments into comedy.
As a co-founder and core performer of 3a Ka3ba, Anthony has toured across Canada, Europe and the Arab world. The experience of performing for different audiences, cultures and types of events has made adaptability central to his work. In Lebanon, he co-founded LAF Improv Hub, a dedicated home for live improv and comedy, where he also works with emerging comedians on stage presence, crowd work, joke writing and storytelling. He brings the same experience to corporate entertainment, event hosting and practical workshops built around collaboration, spontaneity and audience interaction.
Beyond the stage, Anthony has built a broad career across television, radio, podcasts and digital media. He has performed and hosted on television, written and created content for numerous TV formats, worked as a screenwriter and developed long-form conversation and podcast projects. Together, this body of work reflects a performer and creator who understands how to build an idea, shape it for the screen and hold an audience across very different formats.
Before entertainment became his profession, Anthony trained and worked as a mechanical engineer. Music has been part of his life since childhood through piano, guitar, singing and musical comedy, and continues to shape the rhythm and responsiveness of his performance. In 2026, he brought the central lessons of his stage career to TEDxMUBS in a talk about meeting the unexpected when life goes off script.

بصفته شريكاً مؤسّساً ومؤدّياً أساسياً في فرقة 3a Ka3ba، جال أنطوني بعروضه في كندا وأوروبا والعالم العربي. وقد جعلته تجربة الأداء أمام جماهير وثقافات وأنواع مختلفة من الفعاليات يعتبر القدرة على التكيّف جزءاً أساسياً من عمله. وفي لبنان، شارك في تأسيس LAF، وهي مساحة مخصّصة للارتجال والكوميديا الحيّة، حيث يعمل أيضاً مع كوميديين صاعدين على الحضور المسرحي والتفاعل مع الجمهور وكتابة النكتة والسرد الكوميدي. كما ينقل هذه الخبرة إلى عروض الشركات وتقديم الفعاليات وورش عملية تقوم على التعاون والعفوية والتفاعل.
إلى جانب المسرح، بنى أنطوني مسيرة واسعة في التلفزيون والراديو والبودكاست والمنصات الرقمية. عمل مؤدّياً ومقدّماً على الشاشة، وكتب وابتكر محتوى لعدد كبير من البرامج والصيغ التلفزيونية، كما عمل في كتابة السيناريو وطوّر مشاريع حوارية وبودكاست. وتكشف هذه التجربة المتنوّعة عن مؤدٍّ وصانع محتوى يعرف كيف يبني الفكرة ويكيّفها للشاشة ويحافظ على اهتمام الجمهور عبر صيغ مختلفة.
قبل أن يصبح الفن مهنته، درس أنطوني الهندسة الميكانيكية وعمل في هذا المجال. ورافقته الموسيقى منذ طفولته، من البيانو والغيتار إلى الغناء والكوميديا الموسيقية، ولا يزال هذا الحس ينعكس في إيقاعه وسرعة استجابته على المسرح. وفي عام ٢٠٢٦، نقل خلاصة تجربته مع الارتجال إلى منصة TEDxMUBS من خلال كلمة تناولت كيفية مواجهة ما هو غير متوقّع حين تخرج الحياة عن النص.
